Elena was hanging out in Fangtasia. She didn't work until later this evening, but to her, it was one of the most relaxing places to be when you had nothing planned. Besides, she liked being able to people watch and Fangtasia often had a rather interesting group of people that wandered in and out during the day as opposed to the ones who came in at night to check out the place. She'd long ago decided that the ones who wandered in looking lost during the day did so because they thought it was the safest time to come in because there would be no vampires around during the day. When Elena overheard that conversation full of misconceptions, she'd almost laughed out loud. Of course, these were the same kind of people who believed that all vampires slept in coffins and hadn't stopped to consider that if all vampires had to sleep during the day, then someone would be watching over them while they were vulnerable.

But no. These were the kind of people that wouldn't have been able to find their way out of a wet paper back and would most likely crap themselves if they ever ran into a real vampire or werewolf.

Shaking her head, Elena once more relaxed in her booth and tilted her head back against the table pressed into the back of it. She was feeling lazy and more than a little bored and she wasn't sure what exactly to do about the boredom.

Cassie was enjoying the nice weather. She'd found a comfortable spot beneath one of the trees in the park and now she was studying one of the books Faye had told her to find. It hadn't been in the library, but somehow, there had been a copy available for purchase in the magic store. The woman with the pale hair and dark eyes had said nothing when she asked for it, just went into the back room and then returned shortly with the book in question. It didn't help that with the way the woman -- who could not have been that much older than herself -- seemed to take stock of her and come to a decision about her all in a matter of seconds.

Shaking off the scene. Cassie flipped open her notebook and started taking notes on the things she was reading. She knew that Faye would have questions for her -- she always would -- and she was determined to get all of the answers right. She hadn't, yet, but that hadn't made Faye decide to stop teaching her. One of the biggest surprises of all of this was that Cassie was enjoying the time spent learning from Faye.

Asking Faye to be her teacher and mentor had been the best decision she had made since coming to this Village. She should have done it much sooner.

Jenny was slowly starting to come to life again. She was still hurting from the loss of her boyfriends, but when weeks had passed and then turned into a month or more, she had to accept that they weren't coming back. All of their things had disappeared from their room and their names were no longer in the directory. It hurt, gods, did it hurt, but when she realized that she still had all of the things they had given her, she allowed herself to breakdown and cry. She grieved and she mourned and then she started making steps to get involved in life again.

Which would be why she went to the tattoo parlor after talking herself back and forth about it for several weeks. She looked down at the piece of paper she had in her hands. Scribbled in the middle of it were two phrases in Latin:

facta non verba

nosce te ipsum

She planned to get those phrases tattooed on the back of her left shoulder and she figured the tattoo artist could suggest some kind of artwork to surround the sayings that would make it a bit prettier and more feminine than just the words.

[[OOC: Yes, still have health issues, but I've missed you guys so much that I had to put stuff up! Say in the subject who you're wanting and Jenny is there for whomever is working at the Branded Fox, too.]]
