Molly was on her way to the school to her afternoon class when she spotted Carlos. Her feet shifted direction and went to where he was sitting. "Is that a staff or are you just happy to see me?" She laughed, "you know that never gets old."

Carlos glanced up at Molly then snorted with laughter. "Why would I expect anything else from you?" he asked, shaking his head. "But it's an awesome staff, don't you think?"

Molly winked, "it's a very awesome staff and your stick is nice, too." She couldn't help it. "Sorry, that was too easy to not say." Molly took a seat next to him. "Kidding aside, it is a nice staff."

"I bet you weren't here to talk about my... staff," Carlos said, grinning at her and leaning back against the bench. "Haven't seen you for a while." Well, they'd kissed, then Valentine's day happened...

"I wasn't but it's a good subject." Molly winked then relaxed back against the steps into the school. "I've been kind of busy lately." She said with a shake of her head. "More people are wanting tattoos which is a good thing but kind of unexpected. Oh! Speaking of, guess who I met? He had some killer ink on him, too."

She knew that he probably wouldn't guess Sherlock Holmes unless he'd met him, too because seriously who pictured Sherlock with tattoos?

"Oh? Who?" No, he'd never think Sherlock Holmes. He didn't even know who was in the village at the moment. "Me too. School's been keeping me busy."

"Sherlock Holmes and he is nothing like what you'd think. Well he is in that he's a bit of an ass but he's also kind of cool with all kinds of killer tattoos." Molly grinned, "and I got to use no shit, Sherlock on him."

"Oh you didn't..." Carlos said, rolling his eyes at Molly. "Tell me you didn't do it."

"I did." Molly laughed, "it was priceless and of course he didn't know why I thought I was so funny."

Carlos just looked at her and laughed. "You would," he said. "What kind of tattoo did he want?"

"Oh he didn't want one, he was just arriving. I saw him as I left the parlor and commented on his ink." Molly laughed, "He's an ass but in an arrogant way, not in a dickish way." Which yes there was a distinction between the two.

"So, like people we know then?" Carlos joked, grinning at her. "This place hets weirder by the day, I swear."

"I know right?" Molly laughed, "but at least he seemed nice enough. You'd think after all this time and especially given our lives, that I wouldn't find anything weird anymore."

"C'mon, Molly. There is always going to be something weird for us. We're the Kings and Queens of weird." He could deal with weird, loved it in fact.

"So. How have you been?"

“Oh yeah our lives are definitely weird but that’s my point. You’d think nothing would surprise me anymore but it always does.” Molly laughed. “And I’ve been good. I miss my family like I’m sure you do, but really this village isn’t so bad.”

Not to mention there was time out from all the crap which was definitely good.

"Yeah." Carlos did miss his family - like Molly, he had a large family, so he did miss them all being around, even if he didn't live at the parental home anymore. "So... I've been thinking..."
