It had been a while since Sarah had enjoyed a quiet day, just sketching what she saw. She paused on a bench by the school to sketch the kids playing before moving onto the park to draw people enjoying the cool day. Derek was out for a run, hard to break old habits of keeping himself in shape. He slowed when he saw Sarah and smiled before stopping altogether and walking back over her way. "Hey you, how are you?"

Sarah smiled warmly at him, "hey you yourself. I'm fine. How're you?" She patted the bench next to her and put away her sketchbook. "Join me if you'd like."

Derek smiled and took a seat relaxing, glancing at her sketchpad. "I'm pretty good actually. You are pretty good at that."

"Thanks." Sarah smiled flipping a few pages to her favorite subject, Spencer. "I wanted to be an artist, I even went to college to get an art degree." She laughed softly, "until I saw true artists at the college. That's when I switched to being an art historian. I was realistic that there wasn't any future in my making a living being an artist."
