The odd weekend's events were challenging, but Declan was starting to feel frustrated in this place. Too little to do, too out of control when things did happen.
But he kept it hidden. Carried on as best he could. The Sanctuary, and taking care of the inhabitents virtually on his own took up a lot of his time, and what he had left he spent with Donna, with Kate. The key he found on his desk at the Sanctuary that morning was new, though. After trying it all through the Sanctuary, the last room he tried was the armory - which opened with new weapons there.
Thinking for a long moment, he tucked the key in his pocket, and headed for the police station. There was one man who might have a clue what was going on, and he was getting no answers here.
