Multi-Pup Post (OtA)
Scarlett was inside the range when she heard the siren. When you heard something like that, it was never a good thing. She was reaching for weapons when she heard the bell begin to ring.
If the first was an alert, the second was a summons.
Making sure she had her crossbows and bolts with her, she also grabbed two guns. Her camouflage suit was back in the hotel and she probably should go there, first. Besides, she had more bolts there and she might need them.

"But where are you going?" Wanderer asked Phoebe as she followed her to the front of the bar.
"The police station," Phoebe responded as she grabbed her bag. "That bell means the guard has been activated. I need to get there and now."
"I'm coming with you, then."
Phoebe turned on her. "No, you are not. You are getting yourself to the hotel where you can hopefully be safe." Phoebe pointed outside where the buildings were changing. "I don't think P3 is going to be a safe place to be."
"Then I should go to the shelter and help the animals there."
"Wanda, we don't know what's happening. Until we have more details, you should go to the hotel and be with Connor so he can keep you safe." Phoebe hugged her and then was out the door.

As soon as Phoebe was out of sight, Wanderer also went out the door. However, instead of going straight to the hotel, she made a detour to the Animal Shelter. If something really bad was happening like the last invasion, then someone needed to be there to take care of the animals that were there. She couldn't just leave them on their own.
When she saw close up what was happening to the buildings around her, she started to run as fast as she could to the animal shelter.
