Everything had been going just great, and then, bam, world changed. Life just sucked sometimes, and right now, that was one of those crap times.
Hermione was wonderful, amazing, perfect... and then there was Penny. Who deep down he knew he still had some kind of feeling for - what he didn't know, but it was something. He thought he'd worked through all of that, but they didn't have a chance to be friends again, not from his perspective. Maybe if he had, this would be easier, but instead he was at the counter of the comic book store, elbows on the counter, chin resting on his hands, just looking glum.
