This place was setting Alpha's teeth on edge. Without being able to access the Dollhouse network, his efforts to rebuild the chair were going... slowly. Alexis kept bringing him food, checking on him, and he had to hold back before he did something to hurt her. It would bring too much attention onto himself at this stage, and he wasn't ready.
He knew why he was on edge. Echo so close, and apart from that one weekend when they were chained together, he was unable to have her, and it was driving him mad. Well, madder than he was. But tonight, he was out, dancing and drinking, being exactly who people wanted him to be.
