B.I.N.G.O? (OTA)
Midday, Stefan was out walking like he frequently did, by himself and minding his own business. He was headed toward Veritas to see Elena when he saw a dog walk out between a couple of buildings almost directly ahead of him. He didn't pay it any mind.
Twenty steps further, he realized the padding off paws was continuing to follow him. He stopped, turned and saw that the dog was ten paces behind him. It stopped too, then laid down on the ground, setting its chin down on the ground between its front paws. Stefan noted that it had a collar around its neck, so after a moment, he started moving again.
The dog kept following him, to which he walked past Veritas, wondering why a dog was following him. It's not like he had the best of reputation with animals (granted, he wouldn't go after pets or domesticated animals [unless he was starving to death]), and they'd never tended to follow him around. He kept walking, slowing his pace and looking back at the dog here and there, primarily out of his peripheral vision. The longer the two continued on, Stefan would have sworn the dog's expression became more and more imploring.
He was passing by the hotel, turning to see if the animal would keep following him. It did, and he kept walking, a bit out of his element. Maybe the dog's owner would show up?
