Working -- OtA
It was still strange for her not to be working at Merlotte's -- and oh how she missed Sam and his wisdom -- but Sookie found that she rather liked being in charge of the gift store. She loved the fact that she could arrange the displays to her own liking and she was often changing things around just because she could.
While she didn't understand exactly how this place did it -- and she didn't want to think to much about it because she was afraid what she might pick up with her curse -- but it somehow seemed to know just how to cater to her whims with decorating.
Today, she was setting up little displays of candles and knick knacks close to the front doors. She had focused on the colors of silver and blue for right now. She didn't wnat to make the store suddenly change into an explosion of Christmas colors and thought the subtlety of her choices was the correct path to take right now.
This would be why she was up on a ladder and trying to hang silver and blue garland from the eaves of the store.
