Adam couldn't very well teach a lot, sans voice, at least not what he'd intended to. He'd thrown a couple of Power Points together, written on the board and then given up and shown his classes movies.

He was all right with that, overall, but it was annoying.

He'd been in the bedroom, changing out of school clothes into jeans and a t-shirt when Peter came in. Smiling a little, he came out to join him, giving him a wry smile and a wave.

Peter looked up at Adam, waving back, but right now too tired to move from the sofa. You didn't need to be a telepath to see that he'd been overdoing things a little.

Adam arched an eyebrow at him and moved to sit next to him. Reaching out a hand, he ran it lightly over Peter's hair, looking concerned. He probably could have just...thought the question in Peter's direction, but the tiredness on his face made him hesitant....nevermind his own wariness at letting down well-developed walls.

Peter just leaned against Adam for a moment, closing his eyes at the soothing gesture, catching the question in his concerned expression. "Calming kids," he mouthed at Adam. Frightened kids who couldn't talk meant that Peter was the one who was called on to communicate with them to try and reassure them.
