Danny was going slightly insane in the village. He was convinced of it. He thought being stuck on Oahu was bad, but the village was worse. At least on Oahu there were places to go that offered a change in scenery. Here, there was just the village. Even though he knew Grace wasn't here now, it didn't stop him from looking for her everywhere he went. He'd walk by the school and look for her while the kids were outside for recess. And although he already experienced what it was like to reach the village's edge, Danny had tried leaving the village four more times before finally giving up on that endeavor.
He was restless and that was making him cranky. He needed to do something which was why he now found himself walking up to the police station. If he was stuck here, he was going to get a job he knew how to do, and well. When he entered the station, he stopped at the front desk and looked around. He had his Five-O badge on his belt along with his department issued gun which he had found in his room. And he was sporting a tie, again.
