Thinking about stuff ... [OTA]

Gabriel was gone - it sort of sucked. On the one hand, the guy was family, and the sort who wasn't actually trying to either kill Aaron or get him to redeem them. On the other hand, Debra was gone, too. Of course, it wasn't a guarantee that the two of them ended up together, but Aaron wanted to believe it. The archangel was dead, after all (yeah, ( Read more... )

"Sulking looks better on vampires." His British accent came at the same time as there was the sound of a soft flutter of wings. Balthazar appeared leaning against a tree trunk, arms crossed, looking at him.

"I always look good." Aaron said, honest enough with himself not to deny that it did amount to sulking.

"Nice trick." There might have been a touch of envy, there. Aaron's angel-dar was far from perfect, but there wasn't any real question of what the guy was. "Not seen you before - new in town?"

[ooc: I'm assuming they haven't met, though Anna has mentioned Balthazar to Aaron previously.]

"Not quite." There was a little playfulness in his eyes at that, but it was dulled by the same sense of loss as Aaron was no doubt feeling. That, and he was still healing from being sent against a brick wall, essentially, when Anna cast him away.

"Been here for a while. I'm just a recluse." Not really.

(ooc: Sure! Balthazar is kind of a big emo because of Castiel, so he was avoiding lots of people. Now he's sulking about Gabe and how Anna treated him lol)

Aaron nodded, understanding how that could happen. "Name's Aaron - I've been here twice, so far as I know. You met the others?"

"What, you mean like Anna, Xas, and Lucifer?" They were the only ones left, after all. "Yes to the first two, no to the last, and I'm not entirely upset about that, either." Lucifer was a tough subject.

"I'm Balthazar. And I know who you are, Gabriel spoke of you often."

"Well, not of it is true." Aaron said, automatically, laughing and shaking his head. "Good to meet you. Anna mentioned that you were here, but she didn't have much else to say. I've met Xas just the one time - now there's one guy I don't get at all." Of course, angel, zillion years old, different, etc.

"Not run into Lucifer yet, myself." The Nephilim didn't have much to say about that. He was dreadinglookingforwardto dreading the occasion.

"Ah. Don't ask her now or she might have things to say about me." It came out a mixture of bitter and sadness considering Anna wouldn't talk to him at all right now.

"Xas is... special." That was how Balthazar liked to describe his brother.

"You two have a fight or something?" Aaron said.

"Yeah, I have to keep reminding myself that it'd be stupid of me to think that I get how an angel thinks." He shrugged. "Got nothing against Xas, we just didn't seem to be speaking the same language."

Which was an ironic notion, given that Aaron shared the angelic gift of tongues.

"If you consider her using the angel banishing sigil against me when all I wanted to do was talk, a fight, then yes." And seeing as there hadn't really be anywhere to go to, he had hit the village walls like a freight train and spent several days unconscious in a bush.

"Really? She didn't strike me as the smitey sort." Aaron said. "Camael mentioned sigils, but never got around to saying much about them." He sighed. Camael, another dead archangel out of his life.

"Wait, where did you go if you got banished from here? I thought this place was already 'Do Not Pass Go' and stuff."

"She's not normally, but Gabriel left and I have a feeling the memory wall he put on her also left, too." Not a good combination. His sister had had it rough.

"It is." A 'do not pass go' place. "So, I hit the ceiling and came falling back down." He still had a headache from it.

"I didn't know - about Anna, I mean." Aaron said. "Debra left too, the same night. I'm hoping that means they went somewhere together."

Yeah, The Redeemer was a sentimental sort.

"Maybe. Gabriel's stubborn enough." He shifted where he leaned, glancing around the cemetery. "You might be able to talk to her, though. Anna. See how she is."

Yes, Balthazar was worried for his sister. "Gabriel took away her memories of Castiel and the Winchesters, but I think she got those back the same time Gabriel left." And he frowned a little when he thought about that.

"I'll do that." Aaron said, concerned now as well. "I met Castiel, briefly, and the Winchesters." He made a face. "I got the impression that Dean wasn't interested in getting to know me. I was Ruby's friend, and that didn't go over too well."

Aaron shrugged. "Those guys are kind of intense."

Castiel was a hard subject even for Balthazar considering it was Cas who killed him. The Winchesters, though, were easier ground. He let out a short bark of laughter, though there wasn't a lot of mirth in it. "Intense is one way of saying it. Granted, you were friends with Ruby and, no offense, but out of all the demons you could have picked someone not responsible for letting Lucifer out of his cage." Because they he had been pulled into the whole mess and now was dead.

"Oh, him again." Aaron said, rolling his eyes. "I was tempted to tell Dean that he was awfully surly for such a pretty guy, but I don't think that would have gone over well."
