Gabriel was gone - it sort of sucked. On the one hand, the guy was family, and the sort who wasn't actually trying to either kill Aaron or get him to redeem them. On the other hand, Debra was gone, too. Of course, it wasn't a guarantee that the two of them ended up together, but Aaron wanted to believe it. The archangel was dead, after all (yeah, thanks for that, Dad), so maybe that meant he could just go back with the foul-mouthed lady and make with the happily ever after.
He wondered if that was what having faith really meant. Not faith that there was a supreme being (hello, there, Gramps), but that things would really work out. That either the big G was making sure things would be ok, or His autopilot was set to 'good' or something.
Aaron was sitting in the graveyard, perched on a headstone with wings out and all - yeah, it was corny. Whatever.
"So ... I hope that you're doing ok, you know?" It wasn't exactly like a prayer, more like a one-sided phone call. "Stop laughing at me. Asshole. Just get busy with that lady and have that cool kid that was here before." He looked over at the church. "I am not praying for you, so just forget it." Still ...
[ooc: Find one vaguely angsty Nephilim either perched in the graveyard or skulking about near the church entrance, trying to work up the nerve to go inside.]
