K-Mart was really, really loving her life in the village. She had friends, she was getting an actual education, she had a job that she thought was about the most awesome thing ever... yeah, life was good.
She sat behind the front desk at the shooting range, reading a book Scarlett had assigned her. She did things like that occasionally, assigned her apprentice a book or a magazine article that she thought would help enhance K-Mart's understanding of a certain weapon. K-Mart didn't mind, found most of it fascinating.
She heard the door open and glanced up, marking her place in the book and setting it aside. "Alice, hey," she said with a wide grin. "What brings you here?"
