"Let's order supper, shall we? Then before we go, we'll order dessert so it's still hot for you to take to Rory." Charles smiled again. "What would you like? I think I'll have the fish and chips." Which is what he had most every time he was here. Often with Jack.
She skimmed the menu, "Of course you'd get fish and chips." Raven rolled her eyes, teasing, "I was thinking maybe the burger with the blue cheese crumbles."
"Very well." Charles waved over the server and ordered for them both, pointedly not ordering Raven a beer. She would have to do it herself should she want one.
"And how are you enjoying being a wife?" he asked, smiling.
And order a beer she did. A Guinness to do Rory proud.
Raven smiled too, looking down at the table, "I love it. On our honeymoon we used the holodeck at Ten Forward. He showed me his home and I showed him the mansion..."
"It was nice. We couldn't actually go those places and this was the next best thing. It's very realistic. I feels like your right there. The sights, smells, sounds..."
"I don't know. Maybe a little?" she shrugged, "But the building's not what made it home. And you're here. And I've got Rory here. That's all I really need."
She had matured a great deal from the girl who grew up in the mansion. Charles picked up his beer and tapped it against hers with a fond smile. "I am so glad."
"Hey, Charles." Raven was more than a little nervous about just what he had to say. He'd said it was partly good. But that also meant partly bad.
She took a seat across from him.

She smiled, lifting her glass to hit his and then took a swig, "So... what was that thing you wanted to tell me about?"
It seemed important. No reason to beat around the bush.

Charles took a deep breath and said, "the vampire, Jerry Danridge - he's no longer in the village."

"Apparently, he had been watching Anna," he said quietly. "He took her and fed her his blood."
