Time to Move On [ota, tag Debra, EXIT POST]
The fair was okay as far as fairs went. Dunk tanks, carnies, freak shows, skee-ball, ferris wheels and vomit machines. But what made it different than usual was that he now had someone to win prizes for! He was so going to win Debra a giant Teddy Bear or something. Or maybe a goldfish? No, definitely one of those big stuffed animals that obscured her view.
And sure, he could win anything without really trying. Not only that, he could snap his fingers and give it to her. But that wasn't the point! He took a big bite out of his cotton candy and started to walk back to the bench where she was waiting to get the other cotton candy he had in hand.
There was something though. A niggling at the back of his mind. A tug. He hadn't realized it yet what it was, but he wouldn't be in Haurvatat much longer.
