J.L. finds Kyla in the park training the dogs. He's not surprised at what she's doing, but she was late to meet him and that's what's weird. Walking up to her, he slips his hands in his pockets and watches Ginger and Ripper in the distance. "You're late for our sparring session

That was odd. Frowning, Robert approached the dogs, and drawing a knife, listened at Kyla's door for sounds of struggle. Not hearing anything definitive, he knocked on the door.

"Mistress Kyla?"

She heard the knock and the voice, but it didn't really register who it was. "I'm fine!" She called out instead, even though she was definitely pushing herself and was slightly out of breath.

"Did you mean to leave your dogs out here, then?" He wasn't entirely convinced by her assurance -- why someone could have a knife to her throat and make her say she was fine. She didn't sound her usual self.

She finished her set of punches, ending in a kick, before she stopped, exhaled, and went to the door. When she opened it, she saw Robert and Ripper let out a small, worried huff of a sound, but entered the room along with Ginger, Kyla was sweating a little and not in the normal attire for working out.
