Another of his brothers was here. He wasn't sure how he felt about that, staring down at the note Aaron had written him during the power outage about Xas. He crumpled it up and shoved it in a pocket as he looked down at the duck pond and the waterfowl swimming around it.

Ira the duck was giving him a dirty look, so with a roll of his eyes Gabe conjured him a whole loaf of bread. That oughta shut him up.
