Sonny was gurgling happily on her blanket on the floor, rolling back and forth, grabbing her toes and chewing on them at intervals. The twins had enthusiastically agreed to help keep her from rolling under the furniture and other unsafe places -- making a game of it, but Margaret knew that wouldn't last long. Athena's attention had already been grabbed by something on the television. Good thing Margaret was almost done chopping vegetables for the stew anyway.
Margaret finished up, wiped her hands and went to scoop Sonny up, giving Sherman a kiss for his baby corralling skills. Then she turned to see what on the television had Athena so mesmerized. It was a ballet. Margaret had no idea which one, there were no swans in it that she could see, just people in Spanish style costumes. Athena's eyes were glued to it, even as she tried to get her little body to mimic the moves of the
dancer on the screen.
Well, that was interesting.
