Now that she's feeling better, has slept, spent time with Jonah and drank to the loss of Jack, her entire demeanor has adjusted as well. She's back to nice tops and skirts or dresses with heels paired with her white lab coat. Her hair's actually down and a little wavy. She looks...better. She's done dwelling.

Walking into the exam room, she smiles at Sam, setting down his chart. "I've started to look forward to these visits. Now who's going to snark at me?"

He'd noticed that she'd looked a little down - or hungover one memorable morning - but he was too nice (or too well trained by Maddie) to mention it.

"I've met some of your nurses Doc," he smiled lopsidedly at her. "You don't need me for that. But if you miss the fine quality of good vintage snark you can always come down to the marina. Thinking about renaming it Snark and Perky Incorporated."

"Well there's a certain quality to what the shots bring out in you. So make this one memorable for me," Juliet laughs.

"Snark and Perky, huh? The eighth and ninth of the dwarfs?"

"Don't mix up your fairytales, the kid has a tower, no dwarves." He rolled up his sleeve and grinned at her.

Michael had some stitches that were needed to come out now that the gash on his tricep had finally healed. While he might have normally taken the stitches out by himself, Fi had been pestering him to get it done professionally so it would minimize scarring. He and Fi hadn't been on greatest terms lately, either, considering he forgot what time their dinner date had been the other night.

When he saw Sam, Mike approached casually. Anything to prolong the inevitable. "Sam" He nodded.

(ooc: Ima go under the assumption Fi will be leaving when she's officially dropped)

"Hey buddy," Sam was post shot, with what may or may not be a date with his doctor and he was in a jovial mood. Even if his arm hurt like a bitch.

"Clean bill of health?"

"Once I get the stitches out of my arm." Mike nodded. "You know, this place is a pretty good combat training ground."

When you were a spy, it wasn't just that you needed to be good at fighting, but you had to learn to adapt quickly and be ready at a moment's notice. With the village's sporadic attacks, it kept your senses sharp.

"It is at that, Navy should send all the SEALs here as part of their training. A couple cyborgs, and some crazed cannibals.." he gestured at his neck where he'd been gnawed on a little.

"A jihadist will look like a walk in the park."

The next evening, after her rounds are said and done, Juliet does indeed change at the clinic before making her way to the Mexican restaurant. She's looking forward to the good company of Sam, especially because he makes her laugh, and lately that's a thing that's needed.

Walking in, she scans for Sam among everyone else who decided on Mexican food for dinner.

Sam isn't really the 'dress up' kind of guy, unless he has to for one of Mike's plans or one of his sugarmomma's require an escort, but he cleans up pretty nice. Since this isn't a date, it's a thank you dinner, he's wearing brown khaki trousers and a tasteful Hawaiian shirt in cream.

He smiles when he sees her (she does have nice legs) and lifts a hand in greeting, standing up with a smile, "Doc."

Juliet smiles when she finally spots him and walks forward. "Sorry I'm a little late, Sam," she apologizes. It's only a five minute tardy, but still.

"A good looking woman should never apologize for keeping a man waiting," he pulls out a chair for her, and indicates the beer, chips and salsa on the table. "I started without you, hope you don't mind."
