Recovery was a slow process for anyone. For Effy, with all the things that had happened on top of getting diagnosed, it was even more difficult. But, after 3 or so weeks spent in hospital 24/7, she'd at least progressed to the point that she could venture out during the day without being a risk to herself.
And life had been pretty decent to her lately. She was socializing (or making attempts), and even had some people in her life that at least resembled friends. All in all, things were looking up. So, she headed out once again, to take advantage of the lovely weather she rarely ever saw in Bristol. At least that was a perk of being stuck here. Less rain.
She could be found on the roof of the hotel, laying on a deck chair out by the pool. Even though it was only March, the sun was beating down on her, and she was seriously contemplating saying 'Fuck it" and jumping in the water.
[Join her for a swim or a sunbath... up to you!]
