Stories and Waffles (closed to Varric; backdated to Friday Jan 13)
J.L. showing up had complicated a lot of things in the village for Kyla. She took to training more rigorously than she had been the last couple of weeks and her thoughts returned back to her world more often than they had too. When Friday came around, though, Kyla remembered she had made plans with Varric to meet at the Waffle Place.
Ginger and Ripper stopped at the door of the restaurant and Kyla continued inside. She wondered what exactly she was going to tell Varric. She had planned on thinking a lot about it, but then J.L. showed up and she had gotten side-tracked.
Kyla slipped into one of the booths near the back so that she could see the whole restaurant and her back was to the wall. Old habits died hard.
