He walks round the corner without looking where he is going - he's too used to the sound of metal under his feet, rather than anything else - and almost walks into the woman standing there. "Oh, I'm sorry, ma'am," he said, his charm coming out in the smile he gave her. "Didn't see you there."

"I...am looking for something for the bakery. We have that entire empty space on one of the counters, and we don't need another display. So I thought something nice and colorful could go there. But I'm not finding exactly what I want," she admits.
