For the most part one bar was as good as the next to Raylan. He might've had a slight preference for the Eagle's Nest, but that was mostly cause he liked the owner, and the two spunky gals that slung drinks. Beer was good, but he wasn't a connoisseur; far as he was concerned, beer was pretty much beer. Bourbon, now, was another matter.
Firecracker had its appeal too, though. Pool tables, dart board. Decent whiskey. His needs were pretty simple.
Raylan took his hat off and set it on the bar, ordered up some of that decent whiskey and glanced, every so often, toward the door. He still wasn't sure what impulse had made him send a gal he'd just met flowers for Christmas...well, aside from her slight resemblance to Winona. Wasn't his thing, usually, and it wasn't like he'd known in advance that she'd had a shit holiday and might've really needed the pick-me-up.
But hell, wasn't a big deal. Couldn't hurt to make a friend or two, could it?
He shook his head every so slightly, amused at himself, and drank his damned whiskey.
