The change of fall is heavy in the air and Laura has to admit, she's excited. She doesn't like the cold per say (she had enough of that on New Caprica), but she likes the holidays. The family and friends, the annual Christmas formal - she gets excited for the things that she may have taken for granted years ago.
For now though, she's at the grocery store shopping both for work and home. The fall menu at the bakery is something she's been working on, with pumpkin and sweet potato pies soon back on the menu. Humming softly to herself along with the music over head, she's enjoying a quiet shopping trip without Laila. Laura's used to having to entertain the worst behaved toddler in a store ever, so the fact that she gets to browse the aisles has her taking her time surrounded by all of the baking things - spices in particular. She's musing out loud to herself, a habit she picked up in office.
