After his meeting with Joslire and figuring out what space in the forge he could work with Hephaestus was now a happy god. He had tools, space, and was already working hard. The heat and smells of the forge were a familiar comfort that he needed. While he supposed he should actually look around the village all he wanted to do at the moment was create something, anything.
He had already crafted himself a new walking stick one far less ornate than the substitute Aphrodite had made for him. While she loved very decorative things her husband loved the simpler things in life. Hephaestus was now working on something far more delicate, a gift for his wife. It was taking all his patience to carefully work the metal into the shapes he needed but he knew it would be worth it.
