Trillian had been working on a Holosuite program at the Labs whenever Eli wasn't looking, and now she wanted to try it out to see if there were any bugs or anything she'd missed.
It was the inside of the Heart of Gold. Zaphod's ship, really, but she felt that it was more hers than his. She, after all, was the one who knew how to pilot it, knew how to work with it - and she knew enough about physics to appreciate the drive for its ingenuity.
Eli had asked her what her favorite place was, and she'd thought about planets, at first, and streets in London. But really, her favorite place was probably the interior of that ship.
So here she was at Ten Forward, loading it into the Holosuite and checking it. After a while, when she was pretty sure she'd found everything that needed fixing, she went to sit at the bar. May as well have a drink while she's here.
