So yeah, she was nervous. Not that it really showed, Ramona was nothing if not good at playing detached when necessary. Since no one had mentioned a dress code, she hadn't really dressed up, though it might seem otherwise--skirts were kind of normal everyday wear for her. But there wasn't much she could do about the pink hair (well, she could, she just wasn't going to).
She'd at least brought flowers, which she cradled carefully as she knocked on the door. That had to count for something.

...then he saw the hair as he opened the door.
"Hi." he managed with a pleasant smile, though his eyes lingered just above Ramona's gaze for a moment before they met hers more amicably. "Welcome...c'mon in. Here, lemme get those for ya...that's real sweet, thank you."

"You must be Sam's dad," she replied, carefully balancing the vase in her hands to let him take it from her. The resemblance was definitely there, anyway.

"C'mon in, have a seat." he offered, extending a hand to gesture to the nearest available chair. "Can I get you anything to drink?"
