It had been too nice of a day to stay inside today.
Of course, the Owl that she had found in her room who persisted in following her around everywhere had been part of the impetus to get out of enclosed spaces.
She had stopped by the cafe to get a muffin and some bread for her new friend, and then headed out to walk around the village for a little while. When they reached the park, she camped out beneath her favorite tree to write in her journal and the Owl perched on a branch not too far above her head.
There were several things that she wanted to write down, but right now, she just couldn't take her eyes off of the Owl and wonder where it had come from.
