Erica really has no idea what to expect. She didn't know there were teams for any kinds of games in the village unless it was something to do with the school, maybe? She has no clue, but since it's in the high sixties already and gorgeous with not a cloud in the sky, she doesn't really think about his directive to wear something cool.

She has on a baby blue t-shirt under her leather jacket, sunglasses in hand and a Boston hat on her head with her hair in a ponytail through the back. After wearing out the puppy (who is now flopped over in his crate), Erica answers her door and looks at John with a curious little smirk.

"Where are you taking me, McClane?" She leans forward to kiss him before closing the door behind her to leave with him.

Mmm, kiss, nice, worth lingering over. Okay, sigh, stand up straight. Places to go. He takes her hand and leads the way to the elevator.

"It's a surprise, but trust me, you're going to love it." He worried about whether she might be a Yankees fan, but no Yankees fan would wear a Boston hat, so they were good.

"How's your fuzzball doing?"

If anyone ever asked her about the Yankees, her answer would be 'screw the Yankees', so yep, they're way good.

"Good," she says with a little grin. "He's been easier to house train than I thought. But I got one of those mats that looks like grass, with the drain at the bottom? So he's not confused about where to go, anyway. What about Rookie?"

"He's good. He's got that whole focus thing going already, so I've started him on basic commands. I've never started a dog that young before, but he keeps looking at me like, 'Okay, got that. Next?'." He laughed, then a thought struck him.

"Hey, you ever think of training dogs to sniff out 'V's?"
