Anna was taking a walk and trying to get her mind off of going to the book store to read about her future. Castiel's bluntness about Sam and Dean was troubling to her and she wasn't sure how to deal with it. Did Dean know?
That's when she spotted someone on the ground. She changed course and walked towards the man, which turned into a sprint when she saw the outline of wings on the ground.
She felt her chest tighten as she neared and her heart race. Was he dead? Who was it? That's when she noticed his breathing.
"You're alive." Anna was completely surprised by the fact. Her eyes were wide as she hovered indecisively around the Angel.
"No. You should be dead. At least that's what it looks like." Anna wished she had some water on her, but she never really went for walks prepared. She didn't even have gum on her.
She crouched down, one knee on the ground. "Take it easy."
Gabriel was too disoriented to focus on Anna. He would have recognized her if he were less concerned about the pain. He felt for the wound at his stomach, lifting up his shirt. There was a wound, but it looked old and healed. Confused, his hand searched beside him, and he found it. The fingers clutched the Archangel's blade like a life line.
"W-Where am I?" he managed after a few more coughs.
Anna hadn't seen the blade when she arrived, having been to focused on the Angel and trying to figure out who he was. When she saw it, she instinctively stood back up. Either this was an Archangel or someone who stole one of their blades.
She was so fixated on the blade it took her a moment to register the question. She pried her eyes off the blade to look at him, though the blade was kept in her peripherals.
"This is Haurvatat. It's an alternate dimension from our own where people are brought from different time and places to live."
Anna would have smirked if she wasn't too aware of who was in front of her. He might have been hurt, but that didn't really mean they lost their Grace. Not really. Haurvatat was always full of surprises.
"Who are you?" She figured she should get it out of the way, not that she would be particularly welcomed by any of them. She was sure she was on most Angel's shit list.
Gabriel shut his eyes trying to clear his head. He pulled himself up, it felt like the hardest task he'd ever completed by the time he'd managed it.
He looked in her direction, then he finally realized who it was, and chuckled, bitterly, "Don't get your panties in a twist, sister. I'm not going to gank you."
He rolled his eyes, "It's Gabriel. My name, that is."
Anna relaxed, but only a little. It wasn't that Gabriel wasn't scary, but at least it wasn't Michael. His promised, however, was taken with some skepticism. He wasn't going to gank her now.
"Gabriel." She tried to keep the surprised out of her voice, but failed. Her eyes glanced back at the wing sketch on the ground and then back to him. Anna had seen Angels die before, but Archangels were pretty well protected, and powerful. "I don't understand. Who...?" Was it Dean?
He was ignoring the fact that Anna should be dead, cause-- hey look who's talking?. Plus he knew about Haurvatat. Dead people pretty much roamed the streets.
Gabriel sighed, shutting his eyes, then opening them. The pain, emotional and physical, were apparent in his eyes.
Her lips pressed together and she felt her heart drop. It would have probably been easier for Gabriel if Dean or Sam had killed him. Anna remembered how she felt the moment she found out Castiel had given her up to Heaven and she knew that couldn't even compare to Lucifer killing Gabriel.
Her eyes grew a little sad and full of empathy. "I'm sorry."
It was against her instincts, but she reached out to help him up. If he was really going to kill her, he might as well get it over with. Not that she was much of a threat in her current state anyways.
[[Just for future reference, Anna has a bunch of scars on her body from when Crowley and Lilith took her in the village to try and open up a seal. Scars along her stomach and on her thighs, but most importantly she's got a scar across her back that is the symbol to send Angel's away aka Angel trap. Though it's not active since it's healed, of course]]
She hesitated, looking at him for a moment. Was he human or not? Judging by the amount of pain he was feeling, Gabriel was probably human, but he could be faking.
"Castiel's here." Anna watched him closely, keeping the fact that Dean was here silent for now. She was trying to figure out in her head if Dean would want Gabriel to know or not. "And Chuck."
Probably a good idea to think that Gabriel was faking. He did it often enough, after all. But he didn't think she knew about that. The whole Loki, Trickster thing.
"Castiel and Chuck, huh?" Gabriel's tone was noncommittal. He cared a little, "So long as Micheal, Raphael, or Lucifer aren't here, that's all I care about..."

"Haurvatat? Fan-fucking-tastic."
Not very Angel-like, but Gabriel didn't care.
