The Socratic Method (open -Waffle House)

Married life was quiet, she and Jack had settled into a routine without Cassie who had gone home, enjoying newlywed bliss as often as their not at all busy schedules (and Jack's knees) would allow. Sam was content, and had long ago come to terms with the fact that she had no desire to go home.

Home didn't have her dad, or Jack. She still had vivid memories and the occasional nightmare of seeing Ba'al kill him, it wasn't a life she wanted to return to.

Of course that didn't stop her from getting bored out of her skull.

Bored enough that she was finally going to write that book (or the second volume of that book) on wormhole physics that she'd been putting off for years. She had a bunch of notes, and papers and books spread out on a table in the waffle house working.
