Starbuck had no idea what she was still doing in the damn village. It pissed her off more than anything, and as she sat at a table in the waffle place she played with the ring she normally wore on her thumb. Zac's ring. She wondered sometimes what he would have thought about all of this. And she missed him, but that was nothing new. What was new was missing Galactica. Missing Lee. Missing the Old Man. She'd had one of those flash forwards that everyone was talking about and she was planet side. It wasn't this planet either, it was a real shit hole. But she'd been happy and hanging onto some guy. It didn't make any damn sense.
Taking a bite of her breakfast, she shook her head, knowing she could (should) just go to Roslin, but the woman had made it clear already that she wouldn't tell her anything about the future unless she saw it fit. Which sucked for Starbuck because she'd seen a small glimpse and she had no idea what it meant out of context. Were they all safe from the cylons? Was it shore leave? Was the damn place a permenant settlement? She no clue, and it was bugging the shit out of her.
