It was hot. Not just hot, but hot inside the manor, and for a woman six weeks away from giving birth it meant that Piper was flipping through the Book of Shadows looking for some kind of spell, any kind of spell to cool her down. Personal gain could take a back seat to being able to sustain some level of comfort. "Phoebe, is there more iced tea

Although, there had been Cole...
Shaking her head a little she gestured to the club. "Me and my club, apparently. How did I get here? How did my entire building come with me?" She didn't panic, not usually, but this was making her voice raise a couple of notches.

"You must be Piper, then? I hate to be the one to tell you, but you've been brought to another dimension, presumably by magical means. This is Haurvatat. No one's been able to figure out who is behind bringing people here, but there are a lot of us, all plucked out of our lives and deposited here. As for the club...Phoebe runs it here. I work for her. My name is Damon. I'm one of the bartenders."

"Phoebe runs the club?" She actually laughed a little until she realized Damon wasn't, and she trailed off. "So we're all stuck here for some magical reason that no one has figured out? And magic decided that all the conveniences of home like my night club should be here too?" She half expected the manor to be around the corner.
Running a hand across her forehead, Piper took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "What about our other sister, Paige? Is she here too?"
Reply
"I believe you've got the gist of it, yes. People try to leave, but nothing works. Eventually, they just leave, the same way they came. The running theory is we're all here to learn some lesson, but there's no proof of that. Yes, Phoebe runs the club, and, no, Paige is not here at the moment. That could, of course, change at any moment. This place is notoriously capricious."

The thought gave her pause though.
"How long has Phoebe been here? I just saw her ten minutes ago."

He gave her a rueful smile. "Time runs differently here. I think she said it's coming up on three years she's been here."

"Aliens?" He'd had her with Gods and the supernatural, but she looked at him a bit disbelievingly at aliens. "well, why not, I guess. Those might as well be real too."
And then her jaw dropped completely. "Three years...that means..." That meant when she'd come to the village they'd only been witches for a year. Well, they'd only known they were witches for a year. Prue was still alive.
"Oh, no...I need to find her. Do you know where she is?"

He frowned a little, confused as to why Piper seemed so upset suddenly, but popped a shoulder in a shrug. "She may be in the club, already, getting ready for the night. Or she may still be back at the hotel." He waved in the direction of the big building. "Everyone lives in the hotel. Phoebe's in room 2B. She could be anywhere, though." He pulled out his sidekick, glancing at it, then her. "I could message her, if you want? Tell her you're here--then we can go in the club, get out of the sun, let you sit down?"
Reply
"Has she ever talked to you about what she was doing when she came here? How...well do you know my sister?" She had no idea if he knew they were witches, or if he was someone she should even be worried about at all. She didn't have any other choice but to trust him, though. At least not for the time being.

He glanced back at her after sending the message, pulling his sunglasses off, and gave her a half smile. "I know you're witches--the Charmed ones, though I don't think the whole 'Charmed ones' means anything in my world, but I get that it does in yours. I believe she'd recently lost Cole and her baby when she arrived here, though I'm not sure how long--she doesn't like to talk about it much."

Piper studied him for a minute, deciding that if Phoebe trusted him enough to tell him everything, then she could let her guard down. "All of that didn't happen so long ago for us, either. Cole, I mean," she said as she looked around. The place looked like it was taken right out of San Francisco and dropped in the village, it was...unnerving and amazing all at the same time.

"It's good you're not too far away in time, then. That could get confusing, I'd guess. Everyone here from my home is mostly about the same time. One of us came from a little before, but she caught up." He moved behind the bar, and gave her a smile. "What's your poison? I hear I make a mean Shirley Temple, or we've got your standard selection of juices, too."
Reply
"I'll try your Shirley Temple," she said with a smile before sighing softly. "So is the club successful here? Hopefully more than back home," she muttered under her breath a bit.

"So how long have you been in this weird, tricked out place?"
