Dean had been right. The person she needed to talk to was Castiel. Dean hadn't been the one to hand her over to Heaven, Castiel had. Castiel, an Angel with whom Anna had a long history with. She shouldn't have been surprised that that was the decision Cas had made, but she was. Her feelings betrayed her

Castiel heard the knock and got up from his spot on the edge of the bed. He hadn't been expecting anyone so it was something of a surprise to him. He opened the door and saw Anna. "Hello Anna," he said with a hint of a smile. Being the angel he was, Castiel wasn't concerned that his hair was something of a mess from sleeping or that he was actually wearing different clothing for once.

Always a good excuse though to watch SPN!

Anna wasn't as riled up as she had been last night. In fact, she had moved from anger to denial, but it was a cynical type of denial. The kind where you knew it was true deep down inside.

Her eyes ran over his features and a pang of hurt washed over her. Why

Anna didn't wait to be invited in. She walked into his room and tried to push all the senses that were coming at her. The way Castiel's room was starting to smell like him.

No, she told herself. She was angry with him.

She turned around in the middle of his room and looked at him with disappointed eyes. "Why did you do it, Cas? How could you do it to me?" Anna had meant for it to come out cold and hard, but it came out hurt instead.

Even if it was only on youtube. :D

He shut the door as she brushed past him. Castiel could sense the anger looming in the room. When she finally spoke, asking why; he could could let out a small sigh. "I did what they asked me to do. They said it was the right thing to do." He'd doubted it, but they said she would be alright.

That would always be the reason for Castiel. He was a team player and he did what he believed in, even though she had been warning him that something was up with Heaven.

The edges of her lips formed into a frown. "You should have just killed me, Cas. They... Whatever they're going to do to me is going to be worse."

She looked away from him and stared at the wall. Even just thinking about what Heaven was going to do to her made her have chills.

Her words confused him. "Why wold I hurt you Anna?" They had both done the same thing: rebelled against their family. He was just a few steps behind her in that. Castiel looked at the floor with a solemn look. He understood why she would be angry. Finding out her fate before it happened. "You have my apologies."

Anna looked at him with disbelief, but there was hurt in her eyes as well. "Cas, you handed me over to Heaven."

Anna tried to keep her emotions from showing too much, but it was hard.

"I don't know how many times to want to hear me apologize. I can't do anything to change it." What good would that do though? He couldn't transport himself from this village no matter how many times he tried to.

"I know." She sighed. Her knees felt weak and she sunk into the nearest chair. "I just.. I thought..."

Anna knew it was useless. Castiel probably wouldn't understand that she thought what they had would have gone beyond Heaven's order. She also knew a little of what she felt was because she was human and had fallen in love with him.

She put her head in her hands and breathed. Her mind was going miles a minute and it was dizzying. The implications of being imprisoned by Heaven weren't pretty.

"I don't want to hurt anyone." She finally spoke after a moment, looking back up to Castiel as if he had the answers. It was a strange role reversal, but there they were. He was in the future. He knew more. She didn't. She was helpless.
