Mission: Failure... [OTA]

Looking curiously at his surroundings, Castiel wondered where the Trickster had sent him. He could remember what happened, but something just didn't seem right...

"I'm getting you two out of here," he said while putting his hands up towards the two and holding up two fingers in hope to transport them out of the place.

Castiel looked at the ground, ( Read more... )

Sam was walking meditatively through the park as well, he was in his rough, brown Franciscan habit and his feet were bare despite the snow and cold mud. Lent was approaching, and something else -- his time here was growing short, he could sense it.

He was being, he had to admit it to himself, self-indulgently ascetic, while he could. When he returned to his time and place it would be to take up the ornate brocaded mantle of the Archbishop, Papal Nuncio to Argentina, attender of banquets, political figure, employer of servants.

Sam cherished to himself these last few weeks of being just 'Father Sam.'

He saw the man walk by and tilted his head a little, looking at the man curiously. Castiel wondered if this man could tell him where he was, unless this was teh Trickster's doing of course. He got up and carefully approached the man. "Excuse me?"

The tall, black man stopped and looked at the speaker with a serene smile.

"Yes, my son?" He didn't usually use the traditional greeting with strangers, as some people took offense, but his mind had been in the past when he was spoken to.

"If I may call you that." He added quickly, in apology.

While looking the man over, Castiel figured this man to be a preist. He ignored the statement and asked, "Where am I?"

"Lookin' to catch a cold? 'Cause you're on a one way street there, Darlin'." Wendy said, stopped only to properly light her joint. If anything could make up for her lack of a decent coat, it was the warmth that her vices brought.

"It's impossible for me to catch a cold," Castiel stated to the woman. He watched her light the cigarette, unfamiliar with what she was doing. "Won't you?"

"You get a thick skin in Kansas and I've learned the bud covers whatever that doesn't." Wendy replied before taking a hit from the joint. "And it's impossible until it happens."

He blinked, watching her. "What is that?"

The weather has been... I'm not sure. It's the village. But for now I'm taking a walk in the park. It's pleasantly surprising to see someone that I've not seen in far too long. I am never sure when people have left and when they haven't.

"Castiel?" I wonder if angels feel the cold. Perhaps they do not. "It is good to see you again. How have you been faring?"

They met once. Tags will take you there...

At the sound of his name, Castiel looked up. "Hello Faramir," he greeted the man. He recollected meeting the man once before. "I have been...well."

I read over the thread. I'll do my best. :)

I don't know much about angels, but he does not sound as though he has been well. Still, I cannot imagine he would lie.

"I am pleased to hear it, though perhaps it is just your way not to sound it." No, I would not accuse him of lying. "The village can be a strange place for angels as well as the rest of us, I imagine."

I'm not too sure of what to say. It's like I'm speaking to a Maia, though not entirely because Mithrandir is a Maia and I'm not so nervous with him. And Castiel taught me about the Bible, so perhaps it is somewhat the same.

"What do you do here? I see no ducks."

With his eyes sweeping the area, Castiel said, "There are no ducks today. I am meditating."

Dean was on his way to the bakery to make a food run when his footsteps faltered, seeing Cas. Crap. Not that he wasn't glad to see Cas, after learning about becoming Michael's meat suit and Gabriel in the village, he figured they could use all the help they could get. He also figured something bad had to have happened to drag his ass here.

"Shit, do not tell me. The rubes here were wrong and we don't go back to when we left. Lucifer is out and someone is yanking our chains."

Dean and Sam both came at the end of Season 4 with Lucifer just rising and Lilith & Ruby dead. He's been told by Anna that he's destined to have Michael in him though. *g*

He'd sensed someone and looked over his shoulder, seeing Dean. A small smile crept onto Castiel's lips as he stood and approached Dean. "Dean." It was something of a relief to see him. "Are you alright?"

Dean's brow furrowed a little with the question, but seeing as how he hadn't seen him since he tried to stop Sam from doing stupid he figured that's why he asked.

"Just peachy considering I'm stuck in a prison I can't get out of. Sam's making nice with shebitches from hell and Bobby just showed up." Actually that last thing was something good. "What brings you here, Cas? Good news?" He might have been a little sarcastic with the last question. He liked Cas, besides Anna, he was the only angel he trusted, but the man never showed up with good news.

With a head tilt, Castiel asked, "A prision? Is that where you've been the past three days?" That Trickster really must've done something to Dean's mind... "Bobby is here too?"
