weather blues [[ota]]
It seemed like it had rained every day, either in the mornings or at night, and while Juliet loved the rain it was different here. She loved to lay in bed on rainy mornings and let the sound of the water on the roof lull her back to sleep, but all she could hear was silence with maybe the distant rumble of thunder.
After an hour of tossing and turning, she finally got up because she didn't want to wake James. She had no idea why she was so restless, but the thought of breakfast seemed like a good idea. Starting coffee, she wrote a quick note just in case he did wake up. Getting breakfast. Back in a few minutes. Getting dressed, Juliet made her way out of the room with an umbrella in tow before walking in the rain towards the waffle place. Waffles and bacon sounded perfect - a nice big breakfast that would hopefully have her crawling back into bed after.
