He was off tonight which was a good thing. One could only take so much watching people tipsy or worse, drunk and having to talk sense into them when they have had too much. So, it was good to be out and not playing security at the bar and so, as usual, Derek headed off the direction of McKay's to pick up John. Maybe they could have dinner out tonight?
He peered through the glass first, then tapped, smiling as he saw John sitting there.
Wait. Something didn't look right.
Derek walked in and the smile disappered from his face, his usual scowl now back in place. "You okay?" He asked as he approched.
