Late Night Room 411 (closed to JJ)
It had been just under two months since JJ had arrived in the village. Still Cassie knew how she felt about him, she'd known instantly if she was totally honest she just hadn't wanted to admit it to herself for a while because she was still sort of terrified after everything that had happened with Sid. Love was scary and destructive in her experience but now she was starting to realise that wasn't really love at all, in fact she didn't know what that was, nor did she want to think about it very much.
She'd been pretty patient by her standards and she was perfectly happy to continue being patient because the last thing she wanted to do scare JJ away by being too physical. It was getting late though and she was curled up on the sofa, not really watching what was on the TV, because she was still partly worrying about what was going to happen on her birthday. Everything seemed so much easier when she'd still be drinking and taking drugs, she really didn't have the confidence to say the things she was thinking when she was completely clean, but she was going to have to wasn't she? If they were ever going to move any further. Slowly she moved closer to him, resting her head sleepily on his shoulder. "So...I've been thinking, yeah?" she said softly. "Maybe-maybe you could like stay in my room tonight?"
