The Return. [OPEN, tag Boromir]
Months after her disappearance, Sugar re-appeared in the village park, shivering in her nightgown. Something had gone terribly wrong shortly after the birth of Henry, sending Sugar back to her time, and to her people. It’s not something she had ever wanted, to wake up in the bed at Mrs. Castaways, with a sleeping man by her side. A man that wasn’t Boromir. She had screamed and recoiled, causing a stir in the brothel.
Sugar had changed since she had left to Haurvatat, the idea of servicing men to make a decent living was something she balked at. She was in love, and a Mum. But something hadn’t been right; she always doubted her ability to be a good Mum. Something drove her crazy inside until the village decided to teach her a lesson. Being cast from the village taught her that lesson in the harshest way.
So, when she arrived back in the village, she was scared. She was scared because she wasn’t sure where to turn first. Did Boromir forget about her? Would Henry ever come to accept her as his Mum? These questions flooded her mind as she looked about her at the village, not much had changed but many of the faces had.
She started to wander towards where she vaguely remembered she lived, hoping for the best.
