Peter tried not to be terribly obvious about being Spider-Man but the wonderful thing about the village was the fact that everyone was special in some kind of way. He was hardly the only superhero around and when you started counting up the witches and wizards and everything else...well. He wasn't so special after all.
Peter had figured that realization would make him sad; hadn't he spent his whole life trying to be something special for Mary Jane? Peter shook the thought aside and went back to the task at hand--building his own special web hammock to enjoy the spring afternoon.
He strung the web between two buildings and made it low enough that he could talk to anyone who passed by. Weird, maybe, but webbing was surprisingly springy and soft in spite of the tensile strength. He figured you'd be hard-pressed to find a better material for lounging.
