All of Vala's friends had been wonderful and supportive the past few days. She still missed Daniel, of course, but it had settled into a dull ache, rather than a constant shooting pain.
Claire finally convinced Vala that she needed to get out of the room. She offered to accompany her to the shoe store, telling Cameron that she wasn't working at the bakery today.
The two women arrived at the store and Vala frowned when she saw something taped up on her window.
Frowning, Vala asked Claire: "Is this girl from your world?"
Claire took the paper and read over it. "I don't think so."
Which didn't make her any less troubled by the fact that someone was plastering this information around town.
