Fools Rush In (Closed to Participants - Timed to Monday Night)

Mar 22, 2009 15:12

The locked room at the theater was scattered with more spare parts than usual, though it was that gratifying sort of messy that would be worth it to clean up later. Or that's how Lore perceived it, anyway. He was going to do something amazing tonight, and all his work would be worth it if everything went according to plan. The phaser burn at the front of his chest was being a bit more troublesome than usual, the back discharge nearly null of all sensation today, but he couldn't really bother himself with it when he was going to pull off something he doubted any human here had the capacity to do.

He was dressed nicely for the event, too, or so he thought. Black velour with a high collar with a silver leaf pattern on it. But one couldn't conduct themselves well without looking the part.

He had finished the second slim discharge device earlier that day, tidily tucked into a manila envelope. In sharpie, he wrote out explicit directions in an exact copy of a 'comic sans' font, dictating exactly how he wanted his dear darling secretary to deliver the items and slip them beneath the doors of their recipients, the Doctors. He just hoped that she would do it to specification, and he hoped the insane woman would wear the gloves that he asked her to and try not to make a complete spectacle of herself.

"Fooools rush iiin.... where angels fear to treeeeead, and so I come to you my love... my heart above my head..."

Boisterous with excitement, he sang loudly in the sound protected room, sliding with a graceful dance step to the end of the table and picking up a holoemitter he had been fortunate enough to find. One that had been left behind by a certain holographic physician who was likely not going to be needing it anymore.

"Though I see... the danger theeeere... If there's a chance foooor me.... then I don't caaaare"

Programmed now to match facial movements and body movements within 0.0034ths of a second, he unlocked the back room door and jaunted to one of the make-up mirrors to try it out.

"Fools rush in... where wise men never go...." he posed in front of the mirror as he sang as he tucked the emitter into his decorated collar. "But wise men never fall in love so how are they to knooow?.. When we met... I felt my life begin... Oh you did look a little exorbitantly fabulous in this, you know that?" Lore laughed at the reflection that met him as the superficial disguise activated. "I wish I could grow facial hair this well on my own."
