Streets and the TARDIS bar (OTA)

The worst part of finding a job was that inevitably you ended up with one you were ridiculously overqualified for. And even then, it was likely in the food service industry. Ah, the food service industry. The starting point for every menial worker, and possessed the most intolerable and annoying of all management supervision. The last resort of any self-respecting individual in search of an occupation. It would have the highest rate of disgruntled murderous employees if the workers weren't inevitably too tired to kill anyone by the time they got to go home.

Fortunately, there were no chicken soup vending machines in need of repair. He would have opted for a dungeon again before he did any of that nonsense.

But a man had to do what a man had to do, and Rimmer was on his way to the TARDIS bar to ask for a job. And if said occupation would require an apron, then Rimmer would have a few choice words about said position! That he probably would refrain from actually saying and try to talk himself out of it later. It was too much of a Kryten fashion statement, anyway.
