Lara had made some very interesting contacts since arriving in the village. She hadn't decided if she were going to take Ba'al up on his offer of working out of the casino yet but she was definitely considering allying herself with him ( Read more... )

Harry wasn't looking for Lara. He had gathered a fair amount of information about the White Court and her, but he hadn't decided what to do next. He was, in fact, merely picking up a few things for Thanksgiving when, abruptly, he saw her strolling just a few feet away.

There was no doubt in his mind that this was Lara. It wasn't just the dark hair and the pale skin which both reminded him of his brother. She was arrestingly beautiful. And he wanted her. Now. And so much that it hurt.

He gripped his hockey stick staff tightly and tried to focus, despite his libido telling him that there were much more interesting things to do.

All right. This isn't going to be easy. But I need to talk to her about Max--and make sure this doesn't happen again. No killing people for food. There has to be another way. If Thomas can manage it, she can too.

"Lara. I need to talk to you."

...it probably would have been better if his voice didn't sound so low and husky, wouldn't it?

Lara had a cat who ate a canary smile as she saw a familiar figure approaching her. She'd promised her brother not to use Harry but she hadn't promised not to play with him and it was so much fun to play with Harry. Lara genuinely liked him and he made her laugh. She would continue to bait him and tell him how he would look good in silver and white, knowing full well he never would give in. That was half the fun, matching wits with Harry. Too bad the True Love with Susan kept him out of being one of her favorite pets.

"And I live to fulfill all of your needs, Harry." Her voice was sensuous with a hint of laughter as she spoke.

[ooc: Grrr. Sorry, I just got the notif. *kicks LJ*]

"How considerate," Harry replied, trying diligently not to stare...or drool. "Well, at the moment, I think that what I really need is some coffee at the café. Would you care to join me? There are some matters we should discuss."

She has a demon inside her, he reminded himself. She eats emotions and wills and souls. Okay, souls grow back, like hair, but it's still horrible. So thinking about dragging her off to my room and doing anything I want is most emphatically NOT. A. Good. Idea. You hear me, subconscious? Not a good idea! So shut UP!

[OOC: No worries. I still haven't gotten the notif for your comment. Sigh.]

Lara fluttered her eyelashes at him. "Why Harry, are you asking me out on a date?" Her lips quirked. "If you are, I accept."
