There was no doubt in his mind that this was Lara. It wasn't just the dark hair and the pale skin which both reminded him of his brother. She was arrestingly beautiful. And he wanted her. Now. And so much that it hurt.
He gripped his hockey stick staff tightly and tried to focus, despite his libido telling him that there were much more interesting things to do.
All right. This isn't going to be easy. But I need to talk to her about Max--and make sure this doesn't happen again. No killing people for food. There has to be another way. If Thomas can manage it, she can too.
"Lara. I need to talk to you."
...it probably would have been better if his voice didn't sound so low and husky, wouldn't it?

She has a demon inside her, he reminded himself. She eats emotions and wills and souls. Okay, souls grow back, like hair, but it's still horrible. So thinking about dragging her off to my room and doing anything I want is most emphatically NOT. A. Good. Idea. You hear me, subconscious? Not a good idea! So shut UP!
