Dragon Mother Outside (OTA)

Jun 22, 2008 14:42

Glaurnaneth decided it was time to trust to the good nature of those around her. Well, mostly.

She let the window open as today was warm enough not to risk hurting her egg and she stayed close to the hotel as she could be in the Park.

So the village's resident nudist was ... pretty much hanging out on the corner.

While I am surprised to see Glaurnaneth out of her room, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised at what she isn't wearing. She did not do so well with clothes in the winter. Now I'm sure I have no chance of convincing her to put anything on. After all, I do say that she need not follow anyone else's customs.

At least she's out.

"Glaurnaneth, it is good to see you. Is there any reason you chose to come out today--except for the weather, perhaps?" It has been so beautiful out lately.

The Dragon shakes her head slowly. "No, the weather is good reason." She looks around. "After a long winter, seeing the beauty of spring, then feeling the heat of summer are necessary, I think."

"I could not agree more. I spend much of my free time outside now. It's pleasant to come out and read and you're getting much better at it." I think it would be good for her to come outside more often. And perhaps others are not so concerned about the lack of clothing as I am. I just try not to look and to remember that she is not human and not subject to human rules. I certainly do not expect Bree to wear clothing.

"You can always ask me to watch the egg if you like. I would not mind."

"I do not wish to interfere with your mating rituals with Sophie ..." she demurs.

"Glaurnaneth!" Her naked doppelganger had been hiding away, and Polgara was glad to see her.

"Polgara!" she called with equal glee.

"How have you fared?"

"Passingly well," she grinned, hesitating for a moment before embracing her loosely.

She returned the embrace easily. "And how is your Frank?" she asked with delight.
