Norrington was out and about, moreso than usual perhaps, and he'd decided to take a bit of a walk before heading back to the hotel to spend the evening with Calleigh.

At the...man? Yes, it was a man in a dress. Anyway, Norrington tipped his head at the man seated on the bench, smiling slightly.

"Evening, sir."

Felicia glanced up at the newcomer and smiled softly, nodding in return. "Evening. Enjoying the weather as well?"

"Immensely," Norrington said, smiling broadly. "It's finally looking to be spring. James Norrington," he said, extending a hand.

"Felicia Jollygoodfellow." He smiled and shook the other man's hand after setting the notebook to the side. "More widely known as Adam MacDonald."

He still loved saying that.

"Mr. MacDonald," Norrington said, shaking his hand quickly. "It's a pleasure."

"The pleasure's mine. And please, call me Adam, not that I don't love hearing my married name."

"Adam," Norrington corrected, tipping his head a little. "A married man? Happily so, I hope?"

Felicia nodded, beaming. "Oh, very much so. Nearly 6 months now."

"Well, a lucky man indeed," Norrington said, the smile infectious. "I hope to be wed soon, if my lady will consent."

"Ooooh, who's your lady? If you don't mind my asking."

"Miss Calleigh Duquesne," Norrington murmured, beaming with pride. "She is a rare flower, I must admit."

Felicia grinned happily. "Calleigh? She's a friend of my husband's! You're going to propose?!?"

"I hope to, eventually," Norrington said, suddenly a little shy about the whole thing. He hadn't really voiced that desire, after all and his eyes were pleading. "Please, don't tell her? I've not the nerve to do it yet."

"Your secret is safe with me, darling." He squealed happily, clapping his hands. "Oh, she'll be so happy!"

"One can only hope," Norrington said, rubbing the back of his neck. "As I've been declined by a woman before, I'm a bit apprehensive about asking."
