Felicia and Fabulous were enjoying the cool evening as they waited for Calum to get off work. The boys were in the distance, playing hide and seek in the trees as Felicia and the pup relaxed. Felicia was in full drag again today, he'd been feeling nostalgic, so he was in the outfit he'd worn when Calum first saw him in drag

It really is getting warmer. Not a lot, but enough to be noticeable. I'm not sure if I'll see Boromir or not, but a walk-by will do me no harm.

I recognise the dog and look automatically for someone I know. It's not immediate, but the person over there drawing is familiar--even if he's wearing women's clothes.

"Adam?" Of course it is he. "Pardon me if I'm disturbing you--I did not know you were an artist."

OOC--May end up slow time due to death in family. No idea what's happening when. Just... time for Faramir to get the reality out of the way.

Felicia looked up and smiled at Faramir, immediately blushing at being caught.

"Ah...I'm not, really, just doodling while we wait for Calum to get off work."

OOC-My condolences, my thoughts are with you. Recently went through something similar myself.

"Oh. I will not say anything." I didn't know it was a secret. "I understand. Boromir has only laughed about my writing poetry. I openly admit I am not a good poet, but there's no reason he should make fun."

He would not if I were truly upset.

"I was thinking I might see Boromir, now that we're speaking again." My relief must surely be evident. Calum must have known that something was wrong but I cannot be sure--Sugar did not truly know.

Oh, I had forgotten. Adam is Sugar's closest friend so he must have already been told about the child. Still, I can't ask just in case.

Felicia laughed softly as he glanced down at the page filled with doodles of children and a house by the sea. "It's Calum's own fault, talking about the future and children so much..."

He shook his head and smiled up at Faramir. "Speaking again? I didn't know you two weren't speaking..."

He must be aware...

"So you know that news then? Not about Boromir and I--Sugar." That did not come out very well. If Sugar hasn't told him I'll be very surprised.

"Though it's true about Boromir and I. It was my fault and he walked away from me. We did not speak for weeks." I dared not go to him as I did to Sophie. He was angrier than she was, or so it seemed.

"He speaks so of children? You have two to care for now." Not small children, but children.

"About Sugar's baby? Yes." Felicia beamed. "It seems I am to be the godmother, actually." The way Felicia was grinning, you'd think the child was his own, he was so happy for his friend.

"Weeks? But you two are so close..." He couldn't imagine what had brought on such a thing.

Blushing lightly once again, Felicia nodded. "He wants a house full of children, including Benji and Colin."

I was almost a godfather once. That was taken away.

"I'll be an uncle and it's more than I could have hoped for. I know my brother has no children at home. Here, there may well be more than one." I can't help but grin--the Boromirionath of Haurvatat.

"We are close. I did something for his sake but he was angry because it was not something I should have done at all. I cannot make anything right by hurting so many others as I did." I may as well say it. "I betrayed my lady. The reason sounds like a story, but that is the worst thing I did. That she is giving me another chance is an honour and I will not fail her again."

Nothing in my power to hurt her.

"The hotel staff were speaking of it, although I didn't know until too late. They overheard my lady and Glaurnaneth speaking in the lobby and so rumours were born." He knows Glaurnaneth from Christmas dinner, if nothing else. And Sophie also.

Felicia smiled as well. "If Sugar has her way, they'll have a full hockey team in a few years."

His smile shifted to a frown at the other news. "Forgiveness doesn't come easy, but it is possible. Bloody hotel staff, should keep to their own business."

Glancing up, he tilted his head. "Glaurnaneth? But I thought she..." Felicia shook his head. "I don't think I want to know."

"I don't know if that's good or not. How many are on a hockey team?" I have no idea.

"I agree about the hotel staff. Several people spoke to them, myself included. I've heard no new rumours since." He does not wish to know what? "You thought Glaurnaneth what? Please, there is so much I don't know that I'm sure I should."

"Ah...a lot?" Felicia shrugged, he really should know by now.

"It's nothing darling, in this village, anything's possible."

"As long as Sugar is safe, then they can have as many children as they want." Even 'a lot'.

I'd think it would bother me more to be called darling by another man, especially one in women's clothes, but it does not. How different is it from anything else I've seen here--I have an egg, for Yavanna's sake.

"I'm coming to believe that's true. Anything is possible and a few things that aren't, too." I'm not even sure the dragon-child will be allowed to see Boromir and Sugar's baby. "The more I'm away from home, the stranger things get and the easier I am able to agree with you--anything is possible."

I'm not used to it, just used to the concept, I suppose.

"Well, we certainly take care of her up at the club, the queens wait on her hand and foot, we're all so excited for her."

Fabulous curled up in Felicia's lap and he smiled softly, watching his rings glint in the setting sunlight as he ran his finger through the pup's fur.

"It's a wonderful and horrible place we've found ourselves in."

"That's so strange to hear--the idea that a queen would wait on anyone is hard to think of. Of course, the word means different things." They are helping Sugar, which is the important thing. "Hopefully she will stop working if it becomes too difficult. Boromir will worry, I know. She has friends like you to make her rest when she needs it."

I truly know so little about it. I thought I'd be learning but there's nothing for me to do now that the egg is safe and warm. I'm a bit jealous of Boromir for having this chance. My turn will come.

"It is. Much better than where I was before though the strangeness is about equal. I have more people to care about here." That is the most important thing. "People very different than I'm used to."

I smile.

"I've never known men to wear dresses before. I think the longer gowns of Minas Tirith would be much warmer than many of the women's clothes I've seen. And I would not wish to wear such shoes." Not those. "I care too much for my boots."
