I should have asked before if she would need anything afterwards. All I have is one blanket if she needs it in her human form. I have no idea what she'll need. I do not even have water.

I have been careful with my left arm and it should be fine for carrying. Perhaps after I might wish the sling again for a day or so, but for now it will be fine.

She is so large as a dragon and I feel very small.

The signs of her birth are very few: her eyes close and her neck arches, her wings flex a little. Those are it, unless he looks underneath.

A portion of her belly flares outward, and she settles down. The white and gold-mottled egg pops out.

That is all. An easy laying.
