A part of Emily thought, hello, you're not in Kansas anymore. Then again, she hadn't been to begin with. No, she hadn't been anywhere close

Hearing the voice, Emily turned toward it. No one she knew, but was she expecting otherwise? In truth, Emily wasn't too sure what to expect right at this moment. "That obvious, am I?"
It has been a rather long day. I think the upcoming holiday--the village has decided that the library will be closed on 4 July--has the children energetic. There was excess noise in that area. It has left me distracted and I'm sure that's why I didn't notice the woman until I was rather close.
I see her and double-take, before I realise that I don't know her. There is something about her, though.
Staring is rude. I haven't seen her before, so perhaps she's new here.
He's currently feeling a vibe, but he hasn't seen anyone with her face or met her before. He's got a bit of Sophie Neveau on the brain.
There were certain things that Emily wanted questions to. Who, what, where, why... The usual suspects. True, she had received partial answers to date, but none of them were to her satisfaction.
It is that feeling of being watched that eventually drew Emily's attention elsewhere, and in doing so, she noted him. "Hi?"
Well either it was a genuine mistake, or the cheesiest pick-up line Emily had heard in some time. Yet the vibe she got from him wasn't like what she had gotten from Viper. "I am."
No point in saying otherwise. Heck, he might even know that to begin with. "You're from around here then, or?"
Being stuck in the village so long meant, of course, that he missed the people from home. Time didn't pass the same way outside of the village, so no one from home knew they were even here. But they didn't have that luxury, so he missed his team.
He was heading back to the hotel when he saw a familiar face stepping out of it.
At her name, spoken by a familiar voice, Emily's head shot up and she glanced around, until she found the speaker. More like than not the mixture of surprise and relief were easily read across her face, although it soon melds into confusion. "Rossi?"
He could imagine at least some of the thoughts running through her mind, which were similar to the ones he'd had when he'd first arrived: where was she, why was someone from her team here, why was there a room ready and waiting for her? Sometimes it still bemused him, if he thought too hard on it.
But he smiled softly. "You look as confused as I was was when I got here." That was another thing; back home, most likely, she'd just seen him. "I"ve been here for a while, so have Reid and Morgan."
"A while?" There was some skepticism in her voice. The last thing Emily could recall before all of this was flying back on the plane, and he along with the two other that he had named had been there.
"Unless I've been asleep for longer than I imagined, it hasn't been that long."
Spencer happened to glance up and out the window of his magic shop just at the right moment. He felt his blood run cold at the sight of the woman, so familiar to him. Spencer hadn't seen her in over a year because she was dead. But this had to be her - no doppelganger. The hair was the same, the clothing too. He dropped what he was stocking straight on the floor and wandered out of the shop in disbelief.
"Emily?"
Spencer said it softly, as if speaking any more loudly might make her disappear.
It wasn't as if Emily would have any reason to think what Spencer was thinking. After all, she had come back, and although it had taken some time, things had eventually settled back down. Sure, there were still some days when it didn't go smoothly, but there had been days like that before.
"Reid?" While his face might register disbelief, hers is more surprise followed by a flicker of confusion. "Is the whole team here then?"
With Spencer, one could never really be prepared. One day, she might be hit in the head by some flying projectile (on accident, of course) or be greeted to him quoting off some fact or another. Still, the hug was quite unexpected, especially as there was no reason that Emily could fathom as to why such a greeting. It wasn't as if it had been that long since she had last seen him.
"That's quite the welcome..." She finally managed, although his words puzzled her. "And the rest of the team? They're...?"
Well, not here was the obvious answer, although the why behind that.

Not at all, now that I see her.
"I'm sure I have not. Are you new here?" She doesn't look lost, not really.
